About
Gerald is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner fully licensed in the state of Ohio. Gerald has experience working with adult, adolescents and geriatric populations in high acuity inpatient and outpatient settings. He also has experience assessing, diagnosing, educating, and treating mental health patients from ages 5-99.
He is experienced in telehealth and utilizing various means of communication to communicate with my patient as well as collaborate with other professionals. Gerald's commitment to Psychiatric nursing is longstanding and is rooted in personal experience with family and friends. Alcoholism, opioid and other illicit drug addiction were present in his community growing up, which drew his attention. As a result, Gerald was determined to be present and apathetic in a field where so many other providers hold judgment. He is driven by compassion and hope, and has a specific interest in addressing co-occurring disorders.
