About
This clinician has worked in the field for almost 15 years. Most of that experience focused on clients struggling with addictions, including current or past trauma within the criminal justice system and veteran populations. After spending over five years with the VA in their Emergency Room Department, she joined this agency, where psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, and substance abuse were her primary treatment areas. It is this clinician's opinion that by focusing on the immediate areas of distress in a client's life, the more significant issues tend to become more manageable and easily identifiable. When not at work, Ms. Stone enjoys spending time with her husband, 9-year-old son, and dog. She also loves running and being in Wildwood whenever possible.

Why Healthcare
This clinician is passionate about social work and therapy because of the importance of mental health in every area of our lives, no matter who we are. When we are weighted down by stressors at work, home, or elsewhere, their impact on our ability to function successfully is inhibited. Mental well-being is a common goal that everyone should prioritize, and we all need to work harder to ask for help when it goes off track or becomes unfocused.
