About
Rachel prioritizes finding out the strengths of her clients and understanding what is meaningful and important to them. She enjoys helping her clients to sort what is working, what hasn't worked, and some options to try next. She prefers to work like a coach, supporting her clients as they try out small changes over time.
When not working, Rachel enjoys snuggling with her 2 large dogs, playing "cozy games," and researching genealogy.

Why Healthcare
Rachel has always been fascinated with human behavior. Mental health and relationships are like physics to her - there are invisible forces working all the time, shaping and affecting thoughts, feelings, and actions. Even as a young child, Rachel has always wondered why people do what they do. It has been relatively easy for her to become passionate about being a therapist since it pairs her curiosity with her genuine interest in helping others feel better.
